Bio

Allen Melser has been a photographer since the age of 13 when he was introduced in school to the wonders of developing photos. His first camera was a Samoca 35 mm. The camera is still available on ebay.

Allen perfected his skills while attending Penn and Boston University School of Public Communication. He then devoted his time to film and video production having done many documentaries for charitable organizations.

He now works out of the Washington, DC area. His work has been published in several local and national magazines. Allen has won and placed in several local competitions. His work has also been presented at several local exhibits. Finally, his photographs appear in several private collections.

Allen specializes in using light and composition to produce memorable photographs.
